Lipstick you can wear with your mask

Are your dreams of bold lips being wiped away by masks, too? Our beauty BFF Jen Phamous once again rescues our lockdown looks with her trial run of several self-proclaimed smudge-proof lip colors. Jen test smooches and mask-wearing with Rimmel Provocalips 16hr Kissproof Lip Colour in “Heartbreaker,” CoverGirl Outlast UltiMatte in “Strawberry Spritzer,” and Maybelline Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in “Creator.” Plus, Mr. Gomez lends his cuteness to help with the testing tasks!

Oh, my lips look sad right now... It's okay we're gonna fix it!

Hi, beautiful boo-boos! I'm Jen Phamous, aka Jen Pham from Almost Famous, and welcome to my bathroom!

So, I'm actually back in Brooklyn. Yay, I made it! After quarantine, your boo-boo tested negative for covid. Hell yeah! So, I stopped by my Walgreens and picked up some lipstick. I know what you're thinking, Jen, we wear masks right now. It's all about the eye makeup. But, I beg to differ. I have found that lipstick is a great way to lift up your spirits, and even if your mask is covered, I still feel put together under the mask. Because we're wearing masks, I wanted to find lipsticks that wouldn't stain my mask, and also wouldn't come off, because I didn't want to look like a hot mess when I took off my mask. So, these are the three that I found. 

So, I'm gonna try the Provoca Lips first, and this is the heartbreaker color. It's a two-step process. Step one, the intense color, step two, it's the lock and shine. I'm loving this color. Okay, so it's feeling dry and matte and now I'm gonna put on the lock and shine. I'm sorry guys, I don't know if there's a cute way to put on lipstick. So, Provoca Lips promises to be kiss-proof. So, I'm gonna go grab Mr. Gomez and give him a big old kiss! Hi! Oh my god, nothing on his cheek. So, my next test is gonna be the mask test. I'm gonna put on a mask and take a walk and see if it stays on. Lipstick is still perfectly on. What about the mask? Wow, nothing! Let's go try out the others!

The next one up is the Covergirl, Outlast ultimate. It's a liquid lipstick and it promises to stay on up to 24 hours, and this color is the Strawberry Spritzer. So, my lips are starting to dry. I like how matte it is. It's not as shiny as the Ramel, so that could be like a more fancier, if you're looking for that shine. But you know, sometimes you need a matte lip. So, let me go grab Mr. Gomez. Go miss nothing. Let's check out the lipstick. Wow, it's looking perfect. There's nothing on the mask. Let's put it back on, head home, and test out that third one

All right boo-boos, we've got our third lipstick that we're gonna try. It's the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the Creator Color. This will look really good with an all-black outfit. All right, you know the two tests that we have to do. Gomez, there you can see there's nothing on his face. Check out the purple. Oh my god, I love it! It looks really good in the sun. Let's check the mask. Oh yeah, no purple there.
