Hi everyone, I'm Gabi, and I'm a professional model.

As a beauty model, you always have to follow these ever-changing beauty trends. They always change every season, sometimes multiple times a season, and it's really hard to keep up with them But, I'm going to show you today one thing that will never go out of style in the beauty world, and that's the iconic red lip.

So, today I'm here with Walgreens to demonstrate a red lip on myself, and I personally prefer a deeper red for my pale skin tone. A red lip is iconic. It's a fashion statement. It's very fashion-forward. You can wear it out during the night, or you can even wear it during the day.

So, the first thing that we have to do is that we have to moisturize our lips. So, for this, I like to use the Burt's Bees Rosemary and Lemon Lip Butter. It smells good and the packaging is super cute! So, the way you open it, is that there's a little indent right here, and just push on it and it opens. So, I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put my finger kind of like rub it in really good, and then apply generously all over my lips.

So, now for this next part, what I like to do before I apply my lip, is actually apply setting powder around my lip line. So, for this I'm using the Revlon Photo Ready Candid Setting Powder. Makeup artists like to apply setting powder around the lip line to kind of help the lip product stay in place and make sure it doesn't bleed through into your skin.

Now, what we're gonna do is line it, and for this part, I am going to line it with the Rimmel London Number 057, in the color Ravish. This is from their line Exaggerate. So, for lip liner, I recommend getting as close of a color as possible to your lipstick, and if you can't find the exact color, I would go just maybe a hint-hint darker.

So, for this part, I actually like to start out by forming an x over my cupid's bow with a lip liner. And I actually learned this while working with a cosmetic brand. Forming this x helps you to make sure that you have an even cupid's bow, and after this part, you can continue lining the rest of your lips. I personally like to overline one side of my lips right here, because my lips are asymmetrical. So, this side of my lip dips in, whereas this one dips out. So, I'm actually going to overline this side a little bit. Now, after this, I actually like to fill in my whole lips using this lip liner.

Now that we have our lips filled in, then last part of this is to apply your lipstick. And for this part, I'm going to use the Milani in number 67 Matte Confident. So, for this part, you can center more around filling in the center of your lips.

And so this is the final look. Thank you so much for watching guys. I hope you enjoyed this video, and remember you can get all these wonderful products to recreate my look and variations of their colors at Walgreens.
